Storm F Sheryl Swoopes is listed as day-to-day after injuring her neck in the opening quarter of Friday’s exhibition loss to Sacramento. Swoopes, already returning from back surgery, told a spokesman that a Monarchs player was driving the lane and crashed into Swoopes, causing her to hit the floor. She had to be helped off the court by the athletic trainer’s staff and did not return. – The Seattle Times
